Baptisms

Two Sundays ago, we celebrated the two most important rituals of our faith, as demonstrated by Christ himself - those of baptism and of Holy Communion. Eleven students make public their declarations of faith by participating in a baptism ceremony. It was a beautifully simple, straightforward affair - the pastors led the students into the water while we sang hymns and others prayed. It was a gorgeous day, with sunny, blue skies over us and the sounds of birds, rushing water and praying voices all around us. Later that night, those that were newly baptized were invited to take Holy Communion with the rest of the baptized believers.




The following students were baptized: Abat, Alexander, David, Eddy, Josue, Manuel, Pedro, Selvin, Stiven, Victor, and Wilfred.
